Welcome to Our Beacons
Our area is situated in the Central Brecon Beacons area and has both the river Usk and the Brecon and Monmouth canal running through it. It is an area of great natural beauty which offers the visitor way-marked walks, cycle trails, bird watching, fishing, boating and canoeing, exploration of heritage sites, together with an excellent range of village pubs, accommodation and boat hire facilities.
Our Beacons have a fascinating history offering the visitor the chance to explore a heritage set in magnificent scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Footpaths from our valleys provide ‘gateways’ to superb high level routes across the Brecon Beacon hills and mountains.
Numerous less strenuous walks are also available. Local reservoirs are dramatically situated and offer a range of water sports activities.
Please use Our Beacons to discover what makes this an ideal holiday base to explore the National Park at any time of the year.
