This is a wonderful area for the cyclist. Safe family routes along the 'Taff Trail' provide a peaceful cycling with spectacular views.
Quiet country lanes lead to pretty villages with good pubs and cafes.
There are numerous road-side viewpoints of our Beacons and although there are challenging climbs in parts, the downhill stretches are both exhilarating and beautiful!
Because of the narrowness of the canal towpath in this area, cycling along it is not allowed. However a pleasant parallel lane following nearby affords similar views of canal, river, hill and meadow.
