Talybont Camp Site
A picturesque campsite set in a wooded valley near Talybont reservoir in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The camp site is closed till further notice
because of building works.
Facilities
There are toilets for campers below the dam, hand-basins and drinking water on site.
Public right of way across dam and footpaths linking with Taff Trail adjacent to the east bank of the reservoir.
Talybont reservoir is designated as a site of special scientific interest and local nature reserve. An important area for wintering wildfowl and passage migrants which may be viewed from the road. There is one bird hide suitable for the disabled.
Season and charges
Camping is available all year at £2.60 per person per night. Permits available from machine on site.
